    Actually, I just got six times as many results for “shouldn’t have” than “should have”.

    Here’s what’s even stranger.

    I looked up. “I shouldn’t have lived in a married woman’s basement functioning purely as a sex slave.”
    Nothing.
    Guess I was the only one.

    Well, he was searching for the full phrase “I should have kissed her”. I just did that and got:

    kissed her:
    shouldn’t: 2,990
    should: 6,270

    kissed him:
    shouldn’t: 1,520
    should: 2,340

    Of course, the results could be skewed due to the comic itself causing posts like these, but overall, we regret not kissing more than kissing.

    For your phrase, if you take the quotes off, you get over 72K hits. No matter how you slice it, that’s a little weird.

    Maybe it’s a browser thing. Or I’m an idiot.

    That’s strange. Maybe you have safe search on and that’s blocking a lot of results? You don’t seem the type to search safely, but then again, you’ve got kids or coworkers around. And safe search is the default.
